If done right you could be casting lifetap once per group of zeal strikes keeping both of you in tip top life. These together would create a great team and very hard to beat. Reason being, you would have both conviction aura (-def - resist to enemies) and Fanaticism (+ar + damage) from your friends smiter. No offence Kooldac, but I think going with a Conviction Zealer would be the best option for you with a smiter in the group.
